Your information stays under your control.
Manage what GymBud can access, what remains synchronized, and what is shared with your Personal. These choices are available without giving up the core workout experience.
GymBud never sells health information or uses it for advertising. Health connection, Personal sharing, and workout export are separate choices.
Visit measurement and advertising
On the public Coach site, visit analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (Meta Pixel) are separate choices, off until you allow them. Declining does not prevent GymBud use. GymBud still records account and product actions needed to operate the service.
Manage connected health services and synced data
Use the option that matches what you want to change. Revoking an Apple Health or Health Connect permission and deleting data already synchronized with GymBud are separate actions.

Change what Health Connect shares

Change Personal sharing or workout export
Control these independently without disconnecting the health integration.
- Open Health data settings in Progress.
- Turn Share these insights with my Personal on or off.
- Separately control Save completed GymBud workouts.
What GymBud stores
Only limited daily training and wellness aggregates are sent to GymBud after you explicitly connect Apple Health or Health Connect.
- On Android, Health Connect sends only daily steps and broad external workout duration/category.
- On iPhone, Apple Health may also send sleep duration and timing, resting heart rate, and HRV in SDNN.
- No sleep stages, calories, routes, continuous heart rate, ECG, diagnoses, medications, or clinical records.
- Daily health aggregates are retained for up to 13 months unless you delete them sooner.
What happens after health-data deletion
- Future synchronization stops and GymBud removes the synchronized daily health aggregates and related source epochs.
- A workout already exported to Apple Health or Health Connect remains in that service until you remove it there.
- Minimal consent and deletion audit records may be retained to document your request and protect platform integrity.
- Deleting synchronized health data does not by itself delete your complete GymBud account.
Delete your complete GymBud account
Account deletion is available inside the app and removes the account and associated GymBud data, subject to records we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.
- Open Central → Settings.
- Under Data management, choose Delete account.
- Review the warning and confirm Delete My Account.
